Artist Profile

Introduction and Experience
Alex Bertaina was born in 1963 in Turin, Italy, and grew up in Grugliasco and later Cuneo, where the landscapes of the Piedmontese countryside inspired his lifelong passion for color and creative expression. After discovering his calling during a period of convalescence in 1987, he honed his watercolor and painting techniques under the guidance of Marco Lattes.
Bertaina’s work is celebrated for its Mediterranean landscapes, Venetian scenes, and snow-covered mountain vistas, blending technical mastery with a poetic sensitivity to nature. Over the years, he has exhibited internationally, including in France, the UK, and Taiwan, earning critical acclaim and honors such as “Master of the Year” at the Art Revolution Taipei Fair.
His art reflects a lifelong pursuit of purity and beauty, transforming everyday landscapes into vivid, luminous compositions that convey both serenity and passion.
