Artist Introduction

Introduction and Experience
Born in 1982, male, from the Republic of Mozambique. He began painting at the age of 7 and became a member of the Mozambique National Art Museum's Youth Artist Program at the age of 13. He studied Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University and is currently pursuing a degree at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
He is also a member of the National Red Cross Society and has held exhibitions in Mozambique, South Africa, the United States, and Finland. His works have been collected by the National Art Museum of Mozambique. His painting, *Dialogue of Moms* (oil, 100x100 cm), was created in 2006. He was honored to be received by the President of Mozambique in China, and the President also collected his oil painting. He is currently a cultural ambassador for Mozambique. Carlos is very active in Beijing's art scene today. He is a board member of the China-Africa Youth Experts and Students Association, an association initiated by Chinese and African youth leaders to promote cultural exchange between Chinese and African youth.
