Introduction and Experience
Fermin Colomer was born in San Feliu, Spain, the son of Josep Colomer, also a distinguished artist. His father began training him in 1978. From 1989 to 1995, he traveled extensively throughout Spain, as well as Brazil, France, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, and Scandinavia. He visited local art museums, observing the works of the greatest masters. He specializes in Olot realism. His romantic paintings depict his passion and feelings for his homeland. His depictions of beautiful landscapes—mountains, skies, abundant wheat fields, or green meadows dotted with flowers, and streams beside country cottages—shining with pink, purple, and orange hues, blended with his subtle yet bold realism, deeply captivate viewers. Fermin frequently participates in group and solo exhibitions and has received numerous awards. He is actively involved in the arts, sciences, and literature in Paris and is the president of the Spanish "La Palette Du Monde" artists' association.
