Artist Profile

Introduction and Experience
Jesús Monge Cebolla (b. 1956, Godojos, Spain) is a Spanish hyperrealist painter whose work bridges the discipline of Renaissance tradition with a contemporary sensibility. Formally trained from the age of 14 at the School of Applied Arts, he further mastered traditional techniques in a renowned studio before transitioning from a career in design to full-time painting in 2008.
His practice is defined by an exacting focus on proportion, aesthetic refinement, and the depth of lived experience within his subjects. Since 2013, he has participated in over 13 exhibitions and international art fairs. A recipient of multiple awards, his distinctions include a First Prize in painting and being named a finalist for the 2018 A.R.T. Art Revolution Taipei.
