Artist Profile

Introduction and Experience
Prasad K. V. S (b. 1966, India) is a contemporary artist whose practice is rooted in a deeply intuitive response to his surroundings. Largely self-taught, he developed his artistic language outside the constraints of formal academia, guided instead by a heightened sensitivity to his environment and an innate perception of beauty.
Working within a symbolic and abstract framework, Prasad creates compositions that mediate between subjective thought, raw emotion, and poetic imagination. His paintings translate internal psychological states into layered, atmospheric surfaces, balancing gestural spontaneity with rigorous compositional control. Through this evocative approach, he transforms abstraction into a vehicle for exploring the intangible dimensions of the human experience.
Prasad’s work has been exhibited extensively both in India and internationally, earning acclaim for its ability to merge visceral emotive depth with a sophisticated visual elegance.
