Born in 1977, Lee Kyung-mi received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Hongik University in Seoul in 2006. She held her first solo exhibition in 2005, immediately gaining attention from the art world and the public. Since then, she has made remarkable progress in both artistic execution and conceptualization, successfully achieving widespread recognition. Her works not only echo the characteristics of Baroque painting but also inherit Cézanne's discussions on perspective and the viewer's angle of observation, resonating with viewers through their diverse and profound themes. Since 2005, she has consistently held solo and group exhibitions annually in Seoul, Beijing, and Hong Kong.
