Introduction and Experience
Llorenc Danés (b.1982, Catalonia, Spain) began his training at the Olot School of Landscape at the age of 12 and held his first exhibition by 16. His practice is primarily centered on landscape and animal painting, a focus deeply rooted in his upbringing.
Influenced by the pastoral beauty of Olot and a close observation of the natural world, Danés employs refined, detail-oriented brushwork reminiscent of traditional meticulous painting. His use of natural color palettes and unforced, organic compositions conveys a sense of authenticity and quiet vitality.
Set against the serene beauty of the local environment, his works capture the expressive presence and spiritual essence of animals, revealing their diverse states of being with remarkable sensitivity and restraint.
