He was known to weave late into the night by candlelight, believing that every knot and every thread carried a part of the maker’s soul, and that such devotion could bring happiness to its future owner.
One night, a weary golden sparrow came to rest by his window, its feathers catching the candlelight in a soft golden glow. Moved by the fleeting encounter, Saiidi decided to weave that luminous touch of gold into the carpet. From that moment, the work came to be known as Melody of the Golden Sparrow, a textile said to carry the gentle blessing of good fortune and warmth to those who encounter it.
