Sui Jiangsheng

Born in Tieling, Liaoning Province in 1960, she has loved painting since childhood and graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1984. For many years, she has been engaged in oil painting. In the 1990s, she traveled to Tibet to gather inspiration, and was deeply moved by the local customs, simple folkways, and the devout charm of Tibetan religion. She adopted a realistic approach, often choosing subjects with ethnic characteristics. Her works originate from life, but through painting, they transcend life to a higher level, as seen in her "Shepherdess" series. Many of her works are collected by individuals both domestically and internationally.
