Wang Weiquan was born in 1958. He previously worked in a trading company's factory operations and as a self-employed vehicle oil dealer. He is currently an amateur driftwood artist. His connection with driftwood began years ago after he was hit by a pine cone. In 2005, he founded the "Shanpi's Home Driftwood Studio." He has been interviewed by print media multiple times, exhibited in numerous exhibitions, and won first prize at the 9th ART International Artists Grand Prix.
