Xu Sha

Xu Sha (b. 1970, Shaxian, Fujian, China) developed a passion for painting from an early age and initially studied under the watercolor painter Zhang Meili. He began exploring oil painting in 1994 and, from 2001 onward, dedicated his practice primarily to animal subjects.

Now working as a professional artist, Xu is a member of the Sanming Artists Association and has cultivated a practice centered on the vitality and expressive presence of wildlife. His works have entered the art market and private collections, reflecting the growing recognition of his artistic practice.
