Work Description
Exhibiting an exceptionally fine knot density, this pure silk carpet from Qom, Iran, was meticulously woven by master artist Mr. Abbasi. At the center, a circular floral motif unfolds like a blossoming flower, layered in red, gold, and beige and radiating outward in concentric rings reminiscent of ripples across still water. The interplay of intricate pattern and measured symmetry creates a composition that feels both sumptuous and deeply tranquil.
Deep crimson dominates the four corners, accented with touches of gold and beige that lend the work a sense of dignity and refinement. Across the composition, warm and soft tones are carefully balanced, bringing together the richness of Persian craftsmanship with an atmosphere of quiet contemplation. More than an ornamental design, the carpet unfolds like a woven poem—an image of light, time, and enduring heritage.
Radiance of Eternal Heritage
Ivory unfolds into stillness,
while red and gold bloom at the corners,
like morning light brushing a garden.
Rings of color ripple inward and outward.
Each curve holds the movement of light,
each flower,
a whispering flame
glowing quietly within.
It is more than a pattern—
it is a poem of time,
a silent radiance.
