Continuing Philippe Pasqua’s Untitled series, this work extends his abstract approach to portraiture through a muted palette of greys and cool blues. Overlapping brushstrokes build across the surface, allowing the facial structure to emerge in a state of flux, oscillating between formation and dissolution.

By blurring the boundaries of the features, Pasqua situates the image between figuration and abstraction, revealing a fluid psychological condition marked by instability and internal tension.
