Layers of dense black paint and visceral splatters build the surface, causing the form to oscillate between emergence and disintegration—symbolizing the fragility of the body and the inexorability of time.
This work continues Philippe Pasqua’s sustained meditation on life, death, and the limits of the human condition. Through a raw, material approach, Pasqua transforms the classical notion of the “void” into an intense and inescapable visual experience.
