Beyond the mountains lies the Liangshan Marsh Scenic Area, where each Lunar New Year hosts a ten-day temple fair. Crowds gather in bustling celebration—men and women in colorful attire, flowers in their hair, moving among the lively market stalls. Behind them rises the majestic Liangshan Mountain Fortress; in the square outside its walls, people from all walks of life, from craftsmen to merchants, gather to trade and rejoice in festive harmony.

The scene evokes Wang Zhaoju’s memory of Water Margin, where Liangshan was once a thriving hub: "Smoke curls amidst misty peaks; swords, spears, and halberds gleam." During the festival, crimson lanterns sway high above, bathing the fair in a warm, festive glow.
