Artist Introduction
Introduction and Experience
I draw inspiration from nature, light, color, and landscape in my creations. I also combine traditional and modern painting styles. To remember and absorb the light and textures of outdoor landscapes, I spent a great deal of time carefully observing those influenced by nature.
How do I present light and texture? I use the memories in my heart to present my contemporary works. The passage of time, expression, and experience all share my feelings about our current position. I am strongly influenced by both Western and Eastern cultures. My life experience living in this beautiful landscape of Taiwan. I believe that painting is like water; it shouldn't be strictly defined as one thing. Water can be fast, slow, hot, warm, colorful, or cool. It can be destructive. It can also be life-creating. It can be erosive, flat, or rough, bringing laughter or unease. Many differences emerge in artistic creation. Viewers use their own experiences, emotions, moods, cultural backgrounds, or education to determine their response to art. Art uses a multifaceted combination. There is no right answer to art; as people change, their views and feelings about art differ. Therefore, artists hope that everyone will respond to art with their own emotions, thoughts, and perspectives, rather than being told what the artwork is.
