Introduction and Experience
Born in Leling, Shandong Province in 1973, Li Limin is also known by the pen names Liweng, Miaoyin Jushi, and Shuanglong Shanfang Zhuren. He excels in poetry, calligraphy, and painting. His calligraphy was studied under Liu Zidu and Qi Gong, with a particular focus on seal script and clerical script. He incorporates the brushstrokes of running script and cursive script into his seal script and clerical script, drawing upon the spirit and charm of seal carving by Changshuo and Qi Baishi, creating a unique style that is both ancient and varied, brimming with vitality. His eight-foot and sixteen-foot scrolls are often masterpieces that will never be replicated. His small regular script is elegant and refined, exuding a scholarly air. In recent years, in addition to his calligraphy, he has also dabbled in painting, creating works depicting Buddhist figures, flowers, birds, insects, fish, and landscapes. Whenever the mood strikes, he produces heartfelt pieces that are praised and eagerly collected by the public.
