Introduction and Experience
Art Exhibitions China was established in 1971, originating as the preparatory team for the landmark exhibition Cultural Relics Unearthed in the People’s Republic of China, the country’s first large-scale presentation of archaeological discoveries. Since its founding, the institution has been entrusted with the organization of major cultural relic exhibitions both domestically and internationally, while facilitating cross-border exchanges and international cooperation in cultural heritage. Its mission is to preserve and promote China’s traditional culture while expanding its global presence and influence.
Over the decades, Art Exhibitions China has curated hundreds of exhibitions worldwide, fostering a meaningful dialogue among civilizations. In recent years, it has played a key role in advancing cultural exchange under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Between 2025 and 2026, the institution presents a series of major international exhibitions, including Blooming Flowers and Sharp Swords: Treasures of the Mughal Court, Silk Road Rendezvous: Royal Collections of Kuwait, and An Epic of Water and Stone: Special Exhibition of Ancient Cambodian Civilization.
In parallel, the institution continues to integrate digital technologies, cultural innovation, and tourism research into a diversified platform for museum exchange. Through these initiatives, Art Exhibitions China highlights the ongoing dialogue between tradition and modernity, fostering the evolving relationship between historical heritage and contemporary innovation.
